Yateley Manor is unique locally in combining the friendly atmosphere of an unbroken family tradition with the extensive up-to-date facilities of a registered charitable company. The school was founded the school in 1947 and in 1970 became an educational charity controlled by an independent Board of Governors. It is now one of the area’s most successful, forward-looking preparatory schools.
Our Mission
For the maximum academic and social development of each child: We care, listen, encourage, praise, enthuse and challenge.
Our Community
Our community is built on freedom and trust. Yateley Manor is a happy, thriving school where education is a partnership between teachers, pupils and parents. Parents are genuinely welcomed and informed as partners.
We believe that every pupil is an individual, capable of tremendous achievements so we must challenge and develop each pupil’s intellect and ability.
We recognise that success and self-belief are attitudes of mind that are learned and that it is our duty to teach them. We are positive and supportive, stress strengths and not weaknesses, emphasise achievement not failure, use reward rather than punishment and encourage our pupils to experiment without fear of failing. As a school we provide an exceptional range of experiences in order to encourage each pupil in diversity of achievement, whether intellectual, manual, musical, sporting, creative or artistic.
